The Impact One Person as on Hundreds of Gang Members

One individual who brought assistance to the dissection of the ruthless MS-13 gang is a woman by the name of Brenda Paz. Brenda was a 17 year old, pregnant, female member of the MS-13 turned informant to the authorities. She gave them invaluable information on dozens of areas within the gang. She gave up information on things the authorities themselves did not know. Brenda gave them information on identifying hang signals that were commonly used within the gang. She also gave them incredibly valuable insight on the weapons that the gang had in storage. Brenda recalled that they stored Uzi's, Grenades, Pistols, and a few other weapons within their gang. She gave us knowledge on the mindset of these gang members, which she claimed it was, “You live for you god, you live for your mother, and you die for your gang”. Soon after members of MS-13 learned of her being an informant, they planned, and executed her murder. Her information opened America’s eyes to the violent nature of the MS-13.

Bill Blair, Chief of the Toronto Police Service (TPS), is attempting to put an end to MS-13 activity throughout the city of Toronto before their violent rein spreads throughout the capital of Ontario. The TPS cracked down on MS-13 activity, when they arrested 17 members of Mara Salvatrucha, with charges that rain from drug trafficking, and conspiracy to commit murder. Blair stated, “We are going to do everything we can so they do not get their foothold here.” Authorities with search warrants for various areas seized a sawed-off shotgun, $40,000 in cash, as well as 6.5 kilos of cocaine. Chief Blair is fighting hard to keep MS-13 off Toronto’s streets, by enforcing constant investigations to seize any items they might have.
