Gang
violence is a social justice issue that has been crippling the
economies of hundreds of countries around the globe. The crime, the
influence, and the message that these gangs are involved in create a
city that roam with dangers at every corner. One of the most
notorious gangs in history, that still functions today, is the gang
known as Mara Salvatrucha, commonly known as La Mara, MS13, or MS.
This deadly gang has created bloodbaths within city streets, and
spreading throughout North America, as well as Central America and
reportedly, being spotted in Europe. With a membership of over 50,000
members, their number continues to grow. Due to their low remorse for
human life, lethal motives, national and international connections,
and long crime history, MS13 is definitely a gang that should not be
trifled with.
